"Climate Change" received an Honorable Merit at the Indian River Birding Festival hosted by the Pelican Island Conservation Society.

This idea originated from a dream that occurred at 3 a.m. one morning. (Lucky me, right, sleepless night.) Climate and the environment have been in the news lately, so dreaming about what I have seen or heard is not unusual for me. But forming artwork from this dream was a challenge. First, I remembered my creation of this psychedelic tropical forest that I could use as a background but had never finished. Then, I pulled out my graphic pencil drawing of the penguins to demonstrate my idea of what would happen to the polar caps. So, I took a deep breath and started cutting the former artwork into pieces and adding various effects to create this collage. And VOILA! My vision for the future. Hope it makes you wonder about the future, too!
